Quad HD also known as QHD is a type of standard display resolution for computer monitors, laptops, tablets, and mobile devices.

Quad HD resolution is 2560 horizontal pixels and 1440 vertical pixels, that is four times the resolution of high definition 720p or 1280x720 pixels.

QHD is higher than Full HD but lower than 4K resolution, contrary to what you may think Quad-HD is not 2K, in any case it can be called 2.5K.
