What is SXGA?

SXGA is short for Super XGA, it is a screen resolution standard with 1280 pixels across and 1024 pixels up the screen.

Each pixel is a color point, therefore the larger the screen, the greater the number of pixels is necessary to be able to represent images with sufficient quality.

This type of resolution is used for monitors between 17 and 19 inches and a 5:4 aspect ratio.

This type of monitor is used for office use, data visualization and work for which a small screen size and low cost are required.
